Type-M metallic yarn is based on an aluminum or pure silver metallized and resin-coated polyester film subsequently microslitted to very narrow widths. It can be applied to yarn dyed woven fabric, to sponge scourers, fancy yarns etc.
Standard width are: 1/32″, 1/69″, 1/85″, 1/92″ and 1/100″, 1/110″.
Standard thicknesses range from 6 micron to 100 microns.
M type yarns can be supplied on flanged spools or bicones.
